Meet Chandler Reed
Chandler Reed is a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner who brings compassion, curiosity, and a deeply human perspective to every patient encounter. His clinical experience spans inpatient and outpatient psychiatry, pediatric mental health, addiction medicine, medication-assisted treatment (MAT) clinics, urgent care, and primary care. He also has direct experience with advanced psychiatric interventions including transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), ketamine therapy, and electroconvulsive therapy (ECT). This wide-ranging background allows Chandler to approach mental health care with flexibility, insight, and respect for the full spectrum of healing.
Clients often describe Chandler as a great listener, thoughtful teacher, and someone who makes them feel genuinely supported. His approach is non-judgmental and curious, he’s not afraid to ask questions and dive deeper to understand what’s beneath the surface. He uses evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, Humanistic Therapy, Existential Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Inspired by Gabor Maté’s work, our approach recognizes that emotional and physical health are deeply intertwined — the mind doesn’t merely influence the body, it lives within it. Healing begins when we address both together.
Chandler was drawn to nursing because it gave him the opportunity to truly connect with people, not just focus on disease or treatment, but to understand the full picture of someone’s life and health. He values spending time with his patients, learning their stories, and supporting them in ways that consider their emotional, physical, relational, spiritual, and cognitive well-being.
His professional path is also shaped by personal experience: an uncle lost to suicide, and witnessing others in his family find long-term recovery. Chandler developed a profound commitment to helping others rewrite their stories and rediscover hope. He is especially attuned to supporting individuals navigating faith transitions, spiritual trauma, and identity-related challenges, including those from structured faith traditions and members of the LGBTQ+ community.
Outside of clinical work, Chandler enjoys spending time outdoors, whether it’s running, mountain biking, or working in the garden. He has a deep love for music, appreciating a wide range of genres. Music has always been part of his life, his mother and grandmother were both piano teachers, and it remains a meaningful source of reflection and connection. He also enjoys reading about psychology, spirituality, and personal growth, and values quiet, present moments with his family.
“Wholeness is not perfection, but the quiet grace of being unfinished, complete and changing all at once.”
If you’re looking for a space to explore, grow, and heal at your own pace, I’d be honored to walk with you.
